After careful consideration and consultation with our architects and contractors, we will be operating on a half-day schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, June 25th at Mill Road School. Dismissal will be at 11:45 a.m.
This decision allows us to continue monitoring our building systems while maintaining a comfortable environment for students during the morning hours. Changes to planned building events will be communicated separately by Principal Dr. Brian Boyd and Assistant Principal Kristen Strothmann.
All testing and planned activities at Linden Avenue Middle School and Red Hook High School will proceed as scheduled.
We truly appreciate your ongoing support and flexibility as we work to improve our facilities. Thank you for your understanding.

For Mac OS users, there is a system setting that may not allow you to tab onto several types of elements in a web page. To change this setting:
"The purpose of school-based planning and shared decision making shall be to improve the educational performance of all students in the school, regardless of such factors as socioeconomic status, race, sex, language background, or disability." Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, 100.11
The Red Hook Central School District has a Building Leadership Team (BLT) in each of its school buildings. There is also a District Leadership Team (DLT) comprised of members of the BLTs and other interested parties. These teams are made up of teachers, parents, support staff, and administrators. All team members are equal members of the committee.
All BLT and DLT meetings are open to the public. Shared Decision Making's intent is to arrive at decisions made with the input of all stakeholder groups resulting in better decisions, more support for school improvement initiatives, and increased student performance.
